Bar Harbor Bank & Trust received the “Lender at Work for Maine Award” from the Finance Authority of Maine (FAME), which recognizes the Bank's increased lending activity in partnership with the agency and in support of Maine businesses. This year, the Bank and FAME partnered on 20 loans totaling approximately $5.1 million, creating 39 new jobs and retaining an additional 112 jobs in Maine.
The award was presented to the Bank during FAME’s annual event, Showcase Maine, held in Portland, Maine, on November 21. The event celebrates the agency’s successful partnerships with Maine’s business, lending, governmental, and higher education communities.
