Thomas College is seeking a Social Media Specialist. The Social Media Specialist is responsible for managing Thomas College’s presence and audience engagement on main social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok. This individual has a deep understanding of social analytics and audience engagement and demonstrates excellent written and creative skills.

The Social Media Specialist is directly involved with promoting enrollment activities and all areas of the College to help increase exposure and brand recognition by implementing social media strategies that build brand awareness, increase engagement, and generate recruitment results.

The candidate must have three to five years combined experience with increasing responsibility in the fields of social media, marketing, communications, or related fields. Bachelor’s degree required. Excellent interpersonal, writing, editing and communications skills; experience with photography and video production, and graphic design. The individual must possess these skills and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
