Thomas College is accepting applications for a Full-Time Safety & Security Officer.
Our Safety & Security Officers are responsible for the protection of persons, property, and facilities of the institution. This includes performing campus patrols on foot and by vehicle, enforcement of campus policies, completing facility security checks as well as response to a variety of incidents and calls for assistance. Additionally, the position will be responsible for daily data entry as well as clerical duties and assistance with special projects as needed.
Applicants must be organized, detail oriented and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and other computer-based applications is required. All Safety & Security Officers must have the ability to successfully interact with a diverse population in a variety of situations.

A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license are required. Previous experience in security, law enforcement, EMS or related field strongly preferred.
