The Center for Innovation at Thomas College seeks an experienced Program Director to assist in its strategic vison within its Professional and Career Development efforts to deliver the highest career development experience to students that is possible. The director will oversee and manage a variety of programs on a daily basis such as the College’s Digital Badging, President’s Innovation Challenge and Career Navigators along with assisting to forge relationships with industry and institutional partners in order to help create unique and meaningful experiences for our students. The director will also be responsible for managing and directing the process of creating customer-centric (student and other stakeholders) non-credit programming and will manage student employees to help deliver these offerings.
The candidate must have experience and a passion for developing new innovative programming and services. Must be able to work with professionals across a wide range of disciplines and build support internally and externally. Other desired skills include project management experience; project design experience; facilitation skills; coalition building skills; creative, deadline-driven, problem solving teammate; strong written and verbal communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
The position requires flexibility in working hours, including the availability to work nights and/or weekends on occasion.
