Hello, We are so grateful for your participation in the 4th annual 7th UP Biz Tour.
The program's short-term goal is to spark an interest in a future career and excite each student about what exists for them in our community. Our long-term goal is to develop our region’s workforce and economy of the future.
- Students will be exposed to a variety of jobs and workplaces
- Students will learn about educational opportunities to train for these jobs and hear the stories from people in these jobs
- Students will learn about the importance of "soft skills," such as showing up on time, working as a team member, and having a positive attitude
- The annual event will become a valuable part of their education and curriculum
- The program will eventually benefit area businesses and our economy by developing our future workforce
