Katie Doherty, President & CEO has been with the Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce since 2015 as Program Director. Katie came to the Chamber with a strong resume of business operations, management & marketing experience, and a degree from Thomas College. Katie has shown exponential knowledge and charisma that the prospering Kennebec Valley needs.
During her time with the Kennebec Valley Chamber, Katie has been the driving force behind the growth of several events and programs including the Kenney Awards and the annual Business EXPO. She is also responsible for bringing the popular Color Dash 5K to Augusta. A graduate of the Kennebec Leadership Institute, Katie is passionate about her community involvement and encouraging the development of more business leaders in the area.
Patricia M. Hewett, Chief Operations Officer, joined the Chamber in 2002 as Office Manager to manage bookkeeping and finance issues for the Chamber and a couple of subsidiaries. Patty has played key roles also in the execution of many Chamber programs and has provided leadership in CYNERGY (our Young Professional program), Membership Committee and Membership Appreciation Day.
Christopher Voynik, Events & Program Director, is one of the newest addition to the Chamber, joining in May 2017. After graduating Magna Cum Laude fromThomas College in 2014, Chris had already successfully founded two of his now four businesses. His businesses have been featured on Greenlight Maine, Gorham Savings LaunchPad, and Downeast Magazine to name a few.
In 2017, Chris was awarded the Cynergy Young Professional Award at the Chamber's Annual Kenney Awards. Currently, Chris serves on the Cynergy Steering Committee as well as the Thomas College Business Innovation Advisory Council. Chris is a large advocate for entrepreneurship in the state of Maine and has been a featured speaker in multiple events around the state of Maine.
Caroline Saban, Marketing Director, is the newest addition to the Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce. Caroline began her career in business and marketing after graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of New England in 2015. An Augusta native, Caroline is passionate about her community and being a part of the development and revitalization of Kennebec Valley.
In her free time, Caroline enjoys spending time with friends and family, taking pictures of her dog, and watching football.
Debbie Camporiale, Communications and Volunteer Coordinator, joined the KV Chamber in 2004 as the Information Coordinator, or as she sometimes remarks, the Queen of Information! She responds to requests from visitors, school children, general inquiries as well as the chamber membership. She is responsible for the chamber’s website news page and events calendar, keeping them maintained and updated daily. She also maintains Constant Contact and all communications, and coordiniates all volunteers for events. She takes an active role in all our programs and is ready to assist when needed.
