Gale Chung Paper Cuts

The public is invited to participate in Harlow Gallery’s Paper Cut Painting, a “Second Sundays” event lead by Gayle Chung, on Sunday, July 9, 2-4pm at 160 Water Street in Hallowell. Create beautiful pieces of art with paper. Play with shapes, colors, and textures using cut paper to make art. Explore the versatility of paper and breaking the boundaries of the 2D surface. This event is free and open to all ages and experience levels. No registration necessary.

The Harlow Gallery’s Education Committee organizes and hosts SECOND SUNDAYS, a monthly series of free community art-making events which is lead by volunteer presenters and is sponsored by Camden National Bank. Look forward to a variety of activities on the second Sunday of every month from 2-4PM at the Harlow Gallery. These events are free and open to the public. Some materials are provided, but participants are encouraged to bring their own as well. These workshops are opportunities to both try something new and sharpen old skills – they are open to everyone; from beginners to professional artists and everyone in between. SECOND SUNDAYS brings artists and art lovers together to enjoy the process of making art as well as looking at art and discussing it. All ages are welcome. Children under 10 MUST be accompanied by an adult.

Donations and sponsors to support gallery programs like Second Sundays are welcome. The Harlow Gallery is a 501(c)3, membership-based nonprofit – your gift is fully tax deductible in accordance with current tax law. If you have an idea for a future Second Sunday event, please email us at .
