From Career Growth to Financial Stewardship: Nuggets of Leadership from the Journey

Andrew Silsby, President & CEO, Kennebec Savings Bank

June 4th, 2026 | 8:00 - 9:30AM | Kennebec Valley Chamber Office

Join us for From Career Growth to Financial Stewardship: Nuggets of Leadership from the Journey, a conversation with Andrew Silsby, President & CEO of Kennebec Savings Bank!

With 40 years in the banking industry and over three decades at Kennebec Savings Bank, Andrew has built his career from the ground up — starting as float bank teller and working across every functional area of the bank before being named President in 2014. In this session, he'll share practical leadership "nuggets" drawn from mentors and personal experience — from putting people first and leading with empathy, to embracing technology and doing what you love. Andrew will also walk through the community banking model, showing how local deposits fuel local loans, create jobs, and generate Community Dividends that flow back into the organizations that strengthen our neighborhoods. Attendees will come away with actionable leadership insights and a deeper appreciation for how community banking and financial stewardship go hand in hand.

Hot Breakfast and coffee pastries from Aroma Joe's included!
