What is KLI?
The Kennebec Leadership Institute (KLI) is Maine’s longest-running leadership program, designed to develop committed, capable leaders across business and community sectors. KLI equips participants to lead effectively and engage more deeply in civic life.
Who can apply for KLI?
KLI is open to anyone who lives or works in the Kennebec Valley and is passionate about making a difference—no leadership title required. KLI builds a strong network of emerging and established leaders committed to strengthening our region. Graduates go on to hold public office, lead businesses, serve on nonprofit boards, and drive positive change across the community.
